Community Training

CSRE is a Richmond metro area based organization dedicated to enriching the community by providing quality education on emergency and safety preparedness.
CSRE offers a host of classes to introduce or certify students in the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, AED use, and choking relief for adults. Similar topics for children and infants can be added-on to all classes or taught separately. Skills are taught in a small group environment allowing for plenty of hands-on CPR practice time.

Register for a seat in one of our upcoming events or contact us using the form below to schedule your own event for a small group of up to six students.

Family & Friends® CPR

This is our entry class designed for community members who just want to know more about CPR and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator). There is no certification offered for this orientation class and the registration fee makes it an easy place for anyone to learn these life-saving skills. Learn more, view our class availability, or register for your seat in our next class by clicking here.

Community CPR

If you want or need to have a CPR Certification card, this CPR class is instructor led training in the lifesaving skills of adult CPR, use of a barrier device to provide breaths, and how to use an AED. This course is intended for community members with little to no medical training. Participants will receive a course completion eCard from the American Health & Safety Institute (ASHI). An add-on option for this course includes child (age 1-8) and infant CPR. Learn more, view our class availability, or register for your seat in our next class by clicking here.

Community CPR with First Aid

CPR certainly isn’t necessary in every emergency situation. Knowledge of how to provide first aid can also equip and empower you to assist in other life threatening emergencies. The course length is approximately 4.5-hours. Participants will receive a course completion eCard from the American Health & Safety Institute (ASHI). Learn more, view our class availability, or register for your seat in our next class by clicking here.

If an in-person class does not fit your schedule, CSRE offers the American Heart Association Heartsaver Course through a blended format. Learn more, view our availability, or register for your personal appointment with an instructor following the eLearning course.

Regulated Workforce

For workforce professionals who need to meet regulatory guidelines on First Aid and CPR certification, we offer a blended learning course to minimize your time away from work. Learn more about what options are available in this Workforce Training course.
