- Healthcare Student
Nursing, dental, medical, EMT, or other healthcare field students – or prospective students applying to such programs – will need an American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Class. This is more formally know as a BLS Certification.
- Healthcare Provider or First Responder
Nurses, hygienists, dentists, pharmacists or pharmacy technicians, doctors, EMTs, Paramedics, or other healthcare providers, may be required to maintain an AHA BLS Certification. If you work in an emergency or ICU setting, you may also need an ACLS (Adult) or PALS (Pediatric) Certification. In addition to individual certifications, our Triple Play or Double Play options combine these courses.
- Community Member
Covering the fundamentals of first aid, the life saving skills of CPR, how to use an AED, and many other topics, our instructor led classes and blended learning courses are intended for community engagement, for students with no medical training. Training is available in our classroom or on-site at your location.
- Educator/Teacher in a K-12 Program
Whether you are looking for training or certification to meet your VDoE licensing requirement, CSRE is here to help you succeed. Our Educator Courses cover first aid fundamentals, CPR skills and AED training. In order to fit with your busy schedule, and in recognition of varied learning styles, we offer both in-person classes and blended learning courses.
- Service or Trade Skill Professional
Tradesmen, contractors, tattoo artists, daycare providers, and other workforce professionals, may need to meet specific guidelines on First Aid and CPR certification. We offer both the Health & Safety Institute (HSI) and the American Heart Association (AHA) programs. Equally recognized by regulatory organizations such as OSHA and Virginia DPOR.
